Ride up the ridge between Marshall Canyon and the Rattlesnake until you come to the logging road that comes up from the Marshall Canyon Road. Turn right and go northeast on the logging road for about ΒΌ mile to the switchback. Instead of switching back, continue to the northeast on an overgrown and unused old logging road. There is a junction---go right (downhill). After a considerable distance, the road goes slightly uphill. Look for a track to the right that goes around a Kelly hump and then descends down another old logging road. Fairly quickly you come to a stream crossing which is rideable (barely) with caution. Continue down this road which will eventually come out at the bottom of Marshall Canyon.
